BLS Healthcare Provider CPR

Class Description
The BLS Healthcare Provider CPR Training Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The CPR training class is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.
Intended Audience
Healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel who need American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR Training as a requirement for their work.

HeartSaver AED CPR
Class Description
The CPR Training Class teaches current techniques for CPR and relief of choking in adults and children. An infant module and AED Training may be added as an additional part of the classroom training. We always provide a CPR Training manikin to student ration of 1 to 1 which speeds the class along and insures a sanitary training environment. We offer both the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR certification and AED certifications.
Audience
For those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. All classes meet OSHA Guidelines. Everybody needs this basic CPR and AED training course.

SIDS & Shaken Baby Syndrome For Childcare Providers
Course Length: 1 hour
Certification: Upon successful completion, the Instructor Certification of Completion is provided and is valid for one year.
Content and Objectives:
This course is based on the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome Abusive Head Trauma Program materials and provides a basic understanding of the effects of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) and Abusive Head Trauma (AHT) and how it can be prevented. Topics include the history of SBS AHT, mechanisms of shaking, signs, symptoms & prognosis, perpetrator & victim characteristics and situational factors contributing to SBS AHT. Upon successful completion participants will be prepared to recognize, report and contribute to the prevention of SBS and AHT.
Participant Requirements:
This training is intended for parents and other caregivers, childcare workers and students. It satisfies the training requirements of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) for Childcare Employees.We usually offer this class with Pediatric First Aid as an add on module. |

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED

Class Description
American Heart Association BLS HeartSaver First Aid, CPR and AED is our most popular class with Industry, Commercial Businesses, Corporate, Schools and Government Agencies. This First Aid CPR AED training course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first minutes until help arrives. First Aid Training class content includes General Principles of First Aid, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies, CPR, AED, and Environmental Emergencies.
OSHA Compliant
This training course meets OSHA First Aid and CPR requirements and is a good general First Aid course for anyone wishing to be proficient in Basic First Aid and CPR AED. The First Aid CPR AED class runs at least 4 hours in length and the American Heart Association First Aid CPR AED certification is valid for 2 years. Combining this class with Blood Borne Pathogens adds at least 30 minutes and gets your company up to OSHA standards.

Pediatric First Aid CPR AED

Class Description
With Child Care Providers in mind, the American Heart Association designed this pediatric training First Aid, CPR, AED class to meet the regulatory and credentialed training requirements for child care workers in all 50 states.
The First Aid Training Class provides training for those who have a duty to respond to first aid emergencies, such as child care workers, teachers, foster care workers, camp counselors, youth groups, coaches for sports organizations and others.
This First Aid Training contains information on how to manage illnesses and injuries in a child during the first few minutes until professional help arrives.
The core course content covers: first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, Adult/Child/Infant CPR and AED.
The course is classroom and video based. The modular design and optional pediatric first aid topics allow child care facilities to tailor the program to their needs or meet regulatory agency requirements in some states.
The class length is at least 4 hours, depending on needs and the modules taught.
